I recently purchased a 1990 nissan 240sx and the previous owner had cut the trunk light, now the clock doesnt appear, the dome light wont turn on, and the seat belts cannot operate unless i turn the key ignition to three clicks. I've been looking around for manuals but cannot seem to find ones that specifies the wiring problems, I wanted to know what kind of tools I'll need and if this is fixable without taking it to the shop. I think it might have be the fact that when the previous owner had cut the trunk light that it might have shorted out the fuse and that could possible be the problem. Email me at [email protected] if anyone seems to know what the problem is, Thanks

i would email you but i want to keep info on the forum for others to view now and in future searches. i would separate and tape off the cut wires. then go through the fuse box looking for blown fuses. there is one box by your left knee(drivers) and one or more under the hood.
