ALrite, My car is acting weird everytime I start it and usaully in the morning or whenever. It would bog and chock as if its shutting off. Now, as i was driving all suddenly my car shuts off and cant start up the car. Pop the hood open and find out that my freaking MAF wired was burnt by the turbo manifold. Now I got the wiring back to its place and try starting it again, still wont start. Found another problem, the engine control fuse in engine bay was fried replace it and still wont start. Now, the ECU came into my mind because i wanst getting any spark and YES i've try another ignitor chip and still wont work and ECU came into mind. Put a friends ECU and now it cranks over and dies like 3 seconds later. THe engine control fuse is fried again and replaced it and wont crank over anymore. He then takes his ECU and tries it on his car and now his car wont crank over TOO!!! So what the hell is wrong. Is it possible for the ECU to get fried, because I beleive every main unit or chip is blocked with an fuse and i beleive the engine control fuse is there to cut the circuit from sending power into the ECU. Again i can be wrong so please help out the brother, i want to drive too......>

My AOL is FirebatJ AIM me or leave a helpfull note. Thanks GUYS

Edited the title, calm down before posting or I will delete the next one.

Sounds like you shorted out something and it's still present. Verify all your power harness wiring, and check voltages w/o the ECU present.

You might have fried both ECU's.

It does sound like a MAFS or MAFS wiring problem along with another possible short. Given you didn't fry the ECU completely, i would go over all the wiring and fuses to make sure it is correct. I can't be more specific without more information. What MAFS wires were burned by the manifold? How did that happen, were they run around by the manifold or hanging over it? Wiring is difficult to troubleshoot on the internet

Well I just got done rippig out the wired today and traced the wired that was burned and both of them were black with white strip on them. Traced the whole wiring and it lead into a ground source below the injectors where they were grounded. One of them went into a plug that was never used so i just cut that ground wire. The plug was locaed below the antifreeze coolant bottle. And I also heard that the MAF wiring does not involve any power souce so how can it fried my ECU, but when i was tracing the two damage wired, they were stock to some of the wiring so im thinking that maybe they might of had grounded the other wiring. The wired was melted from my turbo manifold because it was too close to it and melted my MAF wiring including the ground wires so maybe this might of cause some kind of damage to the ground wired thats why it was damage all the way through.

The MAF runs off your typical 12V system, amperage is low though.
