1. For some reason my ecu constantly stays on.. so when jon and i hooked up my rev/speed meter it stays on also. even when theres no key in the ignition its still on. how can i get the ecu to turn off when the car is off? whats causing that to stay on constanly?

2. Thers still no rpm signal or read out.. that means theres a problem with the wiring harness right?? Mckinney did the wiring harness for me...

3. My check engine light doesnt turn on when i turn the car on.. what can that be? was that part of McKinney's half on wiring the harness or does that have to do with the gauge cluster?

Thanks a lot for your help guys

2. the rpm signal goes from the transmission through the engine harness then goes into a plug near your fuse box. from there it rides in the internal harness. so it doesnt go through the f3 plug. so just trace it off your transmission and use your fsm to plug it in.

3. the engine light is in the f3/m63. it basically goes from the ecu to the gauge cluster. so all else fails you can just run a wire from the ecu to the cluster.

What color wire is the check engine light coming out of the ecu? Also the low oil pressure light comes from the oil pressure sending unit, not the ecu right???

sil820- the less you mess with the wiring the better they'll get to understand were the shop messed it up.
