Its a 1996 240sx SE, abs removed and no vlsd . Ive had it for 7 months.

Post from when I bought it: zerothread?id=418818

Post from when i crashed it : zerothread?id=417428

I haven't done much yet engine wise, other than maintenance and cold air intake. I plan on putting an Ls1 engine in when this one dies so I'm stashing money and enjoying it for now. My plans are not to drift, maybe some road racing but mainly a GT car. It is waiting on some suspension parts to fix the camber problem i obviously am going to have after an accident like that^. Then short shifter, suede steering wheel (I have sweaty hands), better seats, some areo and a drop.

By the way I am in this thing more than 4 hours a day so its not getting coils or anymore than a 2in drop. And obviously I enjoy modifying and love electronics so this car is gonna be laced with it. Be forewarned. I have already changed the daytime running, and turning lights to leds. And am currently working on a projector retrofit and a gps integration that will blow your mind.

Now pics... be kind

Also :-blacked out the high beams ( not necessary with hids) -Painted the interior trim -Installed blue mood lights with switch and dimmer -All new audiobahn system -Speakers are blue and backlit on switch -Blue NOS base tube (way better than a box in the trunk, sounds better too)-Smoked the tails a bit (need more)-painted center tails, drls and corner lights black

I was thinking of doing some kind of Audi styled LED mod, but wasn't sure if it would turn out ghey or not. Thanks for the confirmation!

Do not want.

All this right here:

cool led idea, not sure it fits there though. Maybe across the top of the headlights to the far corner of the corner lights?

your front end would look more attractive if you left the stock corner and turn signal lights intact ( DON'T PAINT THEM BLACK) and retrofitted LED's in them, leaving the stock (NO BLACK PAINT) feel.

the way you did that by blacking out those lights looks horrible.im not gonna lie.

I think I did some donuts in that parking lot when I lived down in Coral springs. Looks good. I like the eyelids, but not the corners. I would have took the lids to the corners.

Finally I'm getting some constructive criticism, keep them coming. To tell you the truth I had no idea how it was gonna look. And I'm not convinced either but I like doing things no one has ever done. Then I weed out the bad modifications and reverse them.

A friend just pointed out to me that because of how the pics were taken you guys would not be able to tell which were the turn signals and which the drls because I changed that too. So this might help.

Just noticed the fake n20. I don't know what to say, its kinda weird. Its like a cute fat chick who takes a face shot only, and says shes skinny. Deceptive.

That would be the next step before deleting them entirely if its still not satisfactory. I'm just gonna let it ride for now, until the retro fit is done. Because I am replacing all of the lenses then anyway. Just trying new things and annoying some NICOnauts with my blatant disregard for the conventional way of modifying my car.

I woulda made the whole light fixture an led panel instead of blacking it out. I also woulda left the high beams alone so it looks normal and just not use it. I think led is cool, it just needs re thought. Car is clean, I've seen a lot worse.

I decided to paint the actual cover because the original was ridiculously pitted and cracked from what i donno. the previous owner must have lived on a dirt road and drove behind trucks for years. radical solution to a simple problem I know but I'm getting clears soon enough anyway.

Autozone. Great product. Bright as hell, can easily be seen at daytime.

I don't think the leds would look to bad if the corners weren't all the way black. It's your car mod it however you want. You drive it your the only one that has to like it. I think it looks decent.

I actually think that it'd look really good if you used clear corners like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...oriesand painted the crome reflectors black, then painted the reflectors inside the headlights black. you'd probably need projectors though to get enough light output if you did that. Or do something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

i don't think its the unconventional thinking that's annoying people, some of the ideas could actually look pretty interesting. Its just some of the execution looks cheap and shotty. Like a 16 with a rattle can did it
