All right, I haven't drive my 240 in like 5 weeks because my brakes are dead. About 5 weeks ago, I lost all the pedal pressure and it barely stops. I tried bleeding it , fluid came out of both the rear calipers, but the front just kept spitting out spurts of fluid and air, even after pouring in about half a bottle of brake fluid. the lines seem fine. After asking a few people around here, I've been told that either the master cylinder needs to be replaced, there's a lot of air in my system, there's a leak in the system (even though all the connections are dry), or that there's a bad seal. Can someone PLEASE help me? Please get me out of this Civic-driving hell !

(jk I love my civic)

Look at the break booster immediately under the master cylinder and check for fluid. That will tell you if you need to replace your master cylinder. More than likely, that is your problem.

Dude thank you sooooooo much! I looked at it today, and sure enough, it was soaked, so I just took off the master cylinder and got a rebuilt one, again, I can't thank you enough for you advice!
