If you look at the non-navigation screen of the murano from an angle you can see where there are wireless phone controls and a signal strength indicator. Is there a way to enable these features? Bluetooth?

sure sounds interesting...

You mean you can see the'pixels' but theyre not lit??Do any Murano's use this cellular phone feature? The screen is just a display. I doubt the brain of the system would be included unless you added the option. How is the non-nav screen different from the nav one?If you can find the pinouts (or pin-ins??) you can pretty much send any kind of data to that screen.

Edit: ^Ignore that. I think I misunderstood. You just want to display your cell phone's signal meter on that screen? Probably an optional phone craddle that would allow you to use a hands free mike, listen thru the stereo speakers, and show signal strength on the screen. I dont think it would use bluetooth, cause that would require a receiver taht would still have to connect to all those different places. Before cell phones became small and portable, Mercedes and BMW used to have an option like that. I think BMW had a permanently installed phone, while you could get a portable Benz phone (the original Motorola flip phone).I'm sure you could just buy the cradle, and have the dealer wire it up. If youre feeling adventurous, you could pull it off yourself if you have the pinout diagrams...
