It doesn't say how you install it but I think it's the best grill I have seen for the Versa.

If you have an 09 model then you have that grille and could prob just go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy some mesh (sheet at 3' X 8') for bout $10 or so (not sure exactly the price but know it wasn't even $20) and make it yourself. Not something I would pay $100 for, but that is just my opinion.

I bought a sheet of mesh from Lowe's and had enough to make 4 lower grilles and a backing for my 2010 OEM grille and gave some to a local Versa owner for him to customize his 09 OEM grille in a way similar to that, and I still have enough to prob make another 3 lower grilles.

Well too make a custom one out of mesh doesn't that take some special tools in order to get it to fit right? And how do you get it to stay in or do you just take the old grill out completely?

He is going to use a router and cut up his grille and put the mesh in. Don't know exactly how yet. It is still a work in progress that last thing I knew had not been started yet. For something to copy the grille above you could always cut the mesh and curve it on the ends and hold it on with zip ties. my lower grille and backing on the top grille are both held on by zip ties. But the good thing about customizing is being able to be creative. Find different ways to get it done. Making it your own design. You could always make tabs with the mesh that you could bend up to hold it in place. May be a bit cleaner looking then the zip ties.

Like others have said, buy the wire yourself from a home hardware store. It cost me under $5.00 for a big piece of wire. I made a grille last year, it got all wrecked over winter, so I made a new one just last week. It is held on by zip ties. This time I painted it black and outlined it with black door guard trim.
Here's a close up:

I wouldn't spend that much money for something you could do yourself. A fellow Ontario member bought something similar from eBay and he said it just overlayed on the original grille using electrical ties. This means you can do it yourself. Just takes some time to get it done!

We have a complete mesh grille replacement, not wire overlaid on top.
