...driving 60 MPH, hear a "thud", look to your left and see your 17" wheel flying like a sauser? I did.

It was raining and I was bored so I tested out my lil S13. Well, after I got to 110ish, I slowed down. RIght before the exit, I heard something from the back, and before I can slow down more, my car dropped and I slowed down dramatically, came to a complete stop afterwards. Right after I heard the thud sound, my left rear tire was up in the air, flying around. Lucky no one was near, and I was be able to find my wheel on the highway about 1/8 of a mile where my s13 stopped. Took us a few hours to drive back because it dropped again due to the lug nuts problem (lost 4 so we had to take 1 off each wheel). After that, my brake was gone so I was driving 15 mph local road to my friend's shop without brake. Scary night. Just oughta share it with you guys. Lesson of the day, check your lug nuts on alluminum wheels.

c clips in my freind's truck broke, tire and axle walked out and rolled past us. Try fishing a 38.5 Super Swamper out of a ditch! Glad you didn't crash or really mess up your car though.
