What's up Gents. I'm in the market for a SR20det and have been doing some shopping on the net. I read the topic here on NICO about some places to check into and found that some links no longer work and the topic was started back in 05. There were some crazy prices back in 05 The best price I have found so far is $1800.00 shipped for a blacktop. The vender has 450+ transactions and 100% feedback which looks good, but they are from Canada. (Not Osaka.) Not that Canada venders are bad, I read in the one topic that buying from a vender in Canada, you have less pull when it comes to problems with your purchase if there are any problems. So, I'd just rather pick one up from somewhere here in the states if possible. What would even be better, would be to drive and pick it up myself. I live in the Tampa, Fl area. The places I checked here in town are out of them. I don't mind driving to Georgia, SC, NC if need be to pick one up if the price is right. So, If you picked up a SR here lately, where did you get it and how much did it cost you?Thanks.....

Why not try looking at Jarco or JHot in GA?

Thanks for the reply. I checked with Jhot and was told they are out of them at the moment and if they did have any, they wanted $2000.00+ plus shipping. I have not checked with Jarco, but will. Do you have there website addy??Thanks again for the reply.

The prices may be slightly higher but at least they are reputable and not as far away if you need to talk to them. With some of these foreign companies there is no way to complain or report them if you get poor service.

Try here, http://stores.ebay.com/JARCO-Inc their website probably hasnt been updated in a long time.

I just purchased a s13 black top from Heavy Throttle about 2 months ago and got extremely great service from them. It will cost a little more from them, but in this situation you really do get what you pay for. They garuntee the milage on there motors where as other places that i have seen sell SR's with close to 80k and 100k on them. When my sr showed up, the plug for the 02 sensor had been smashed, and within 3 days, jeff had a good one to my door. Heavy throttle is very good about keeping in touch and making sure you get exactly what you want and exactly what you need for your swap.

Good luck!Dan
