On my Maxima 2001 (automatic), I can't move the stick from P to anywhere else (D, R, etc.) without using the shift release. I was told that there was "a plastic thing" that was broken under the shifter that was causing my problem. What is this "thing" and where can I get a new one? Also, where in the FSM does it show how to fix this??? Thanks.
