have to say goodbye to you guys :toast:

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Thanks for keeping this forum alive and helping other people with theirs EX35's. I had Infiniti ex35journey, fully loaded. its my first Infiniti, i am in love with all of them now. I drove my baby for 1 month and 2000 miles only before one lady decide not to let me go on green light. :tisk: :frown: both cars totaled. I am totally fine, same as other driver. Today i purchase 2010 G37x. I hope to see some of your helpful tips in other forums. Thanks everyone and god bless all of you guys! Drive carefully. :shifter:

I always think about trading in my 2008 EX35 AWD for a CPO G37x 2010 or 2011, but after moving in to our new place, I realized how helpful the EX35 was during our 130 miles round trip to Ikea in ILLinois. It fits most 60" long dresser (folded in the box). and can fit 70" long narrow boxes in the middle of the front console.
It was also very helpful moving tiny stuff from the old place to the new place.

Still, I am longing for the spirited driving experience from the G37x. It is very responsive!

OP, good choice for the EX35 replacement!

I went the opposite way after my 2010 G37xS was totalled and bought a loaded 2011 EX 35. Much as I loved the G37 and feel the utility quotient of the EX is a bit lacking, I am not sure I would go back. I prefer the ride, amenities, height and ability to haul snowmobile, bikes, and kayaks of the EX to the handling and power of the G. I do wish my EX had the 3.7 mill though. Even better would be porting the hybrid system of the new Q50 over to a refreshed (and perhaps slightly roomier) EX.

Today was my first day of driving experience the G37x. drove 150 miles for a beautiful place to have diner with my friends. 7 speed transmission shifting too much (my opinion), but it gives you sporty feel, and suspension stiffer then EX. Exhaust little noisy on higher rmp, but other than that i am 100% happy owner of Infiniti. Did not used allot of smart cruise control on EX and lane assist was useless in CO serpentine roads, but i miss my 4 cameras with top view on my EX35. Oh last thing, G37its fast, very fast for non turbo or supercharged engine. If EX becomes hybrid i will trade my wife's VW and get one.

What a sad ending for your EX :frown: . It's also unfortunate that you lost it only after 1 month of ownership due to a bad driver :tisk: .

The best thing though is that unlike your EX, you didn't sustain any damage :bigthumb:

While you didn't get another EX, at least you stayed within the Infiniti family. Enjoy your new ride :wavey: .

It's only 10% more hp but you are right the G feels extremely fast. That's why I would love to try out the 3.7 EX to see how different it feels. Gs also handle amazingly well. Mine seemed a little nervous on the highway, but once somebody cut into my lane and I cut the wheel hard. I swear it felt like the car leaped off the pavement and landed the next lane over. I live in the greater Boston region and while there are no shortage of winding roads that I could blast along with radar detector on the ready, they all are too populated (and patrolled) for me to ever feel that I could fully let that beast off the leash and test its limits. I found myself longing to try some track time. While the EX is certainly a quick and capable machine I feel less impelled to wind it out, which is ultimately probably safer for me, the public at large, and my insurance rates.
