REPLACE HEADER WITH TURBO MANIFOLD.

BTW: THE RB25 AND RB20 HAVE A $1500+ PRICE DIFFERENCE AND THE SR AND RB20 HAVE ABOUT A $500+ PRICE DIFFERENCE.

NOW YOU TAKE THE SAME MODS AND ADD $500+ EXTRA TO THE RB20 AND YOU'LL HAVE MUCH MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.

so basically your sayin that if i take a cheaper engine(rb20det) and use the extra money i save from gettin the bigger rb25 to add more mods..it would be fast than gettin the rb25 engine and havin less mods? did i understand that right? so your vote is for the rb20det? right?...

That goes both ways however. Ultimately you will get more our of the 25 and it starts with more power.

Ford rates the GT at 260Hp

RB25DET is rated at 250hp for the R33 and 280 for the R34

Your car will be around 400lbs lighter than his car. You shouldn't need much if anything to beat him.

Go with the 25 because of the displacement. I don't think you'll need anything to beat him with that. Throw on a full exhaust and turn the boost up a TAD bit and I'd put money on you winning him.

btw, there's no plugs and wires for RB's, they're direct coil to plug.
