My 93 dohc trans doesn't have a dust collar. And i can't use the sr one.
I have came down to two different options. Ether buy a ka dust collar(which i can't find) or could i cut the sr down about a 1in. or so. So that the shaft will fit in side the transmission with a dust collar.

Thanks

Mine is removed, along with a lot of other peoples. Just don't use one, its really not even anything to worry about. A few driveshaft companies actually claimed that you would need to remove that dust sleeve in order to fit their driveshaft.

my dust collar didn't fit on mine either, so i took it off from the sr transmission, took my electric saw and cut it in half. it fit perfectly.
