Have my doors speaker holes been modified?

I know... I know... it's beautiful and you want to know who customized it, but actually this is a pic from when I just got the car home after buying it (I did remove the door tweed). The guy before me took the speakers and headunit, and I have a question:

Can anyone tell if the speaker holes have been modified? I haven't been near the car in 3 months, so I can't measure, but the holes seemed bigger than a 4x6 speaker mounting location. If you want a bigger picture, it is under RBSileighty in the pic section of NICO as well.

I will be running a P7200 and just want to put in what fits. I got the radio for next to nothing after helping someone with their S14, and I don't want to run any amps in the car... so I'll just be putting in some 4x6's that will be happy seeing ~17rms if the doors aren't modified.
