Heh, just remember my swap is a S13 Black into 95' 240SX. Experienced hands would be appreciated though, as my friends don't know ANYTHING about motors.
Quote »The instructions on installing the CAS are misleading, you can go by what it says in the FSM and it will still be off since there are two possible TDC's. When I started up my new engine, I had to reinstall the CAS about 7 times (with the rotation) before I got anything remotely resembling a properly running engine. It was the same for me, I knew the fuel was being fed because I looked into the chamber and it was wet with fuel, so keep trying the CAS. MAFS will only make it run like crap but will still let it run (not for long). The knock sensor will have no effects on how the engine runs (or it shouldnt).[/quote]I installed the CAS with the valve cover off. When I have time, I will just try taking it out, each time rotating it forward by one tooth and see if anything happens. I want this thing to at least STUTTER.
