SUMMARY: Have code P0340 on M45? How I fixed it
Replace the camshaft sensor that is BELOW the higher 'camshaft' sensor on the drivers side
Bank 1 = Drivers side
Picture of where the sensor is: topic607101.html#p6691736 - number 3 on the picture
Part: Part Number: SU266 (Duralast New Camshaft Position Sensor SU266)
DETAILED:
I drove to work yesterday morning, just fine, then went to start my car to go home and it would crank but wouldn't start.
Hours and hours of research later, figured it out, now it starts perfectly
I got P0340 - Powertrain Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
I got the $30 duralast sensor from autozone. those have worked for me. some people say never use aftermarket and use oem, but has worked for me. if someone has good reasons why not, i am all ears

Just have to pull off the air box, just a couple bolts
