Miska :Tima and agin folks going wiht the tempting cheap clips have had issues.I realize this is a bit of a thread hijack but please keep this in mind.

Also our club sponsors all sell great engine at very competitie prices.

Enjuku, heavythrottle, mvpmotorsports phase 2 truboost, 240sxmotoring etc etc

Thier banners rotate on the margins on the left.

You can cut some corners and save some money, but down the road your going to have BIG problems with that motor. It's better to buy from reputabul importer of motors. And save ALOT of money in the future.

my 2 cents

I never went as far as to look at ebay. I wanted a clip and chose one of the only shops at the time that had them available, no one had them in stock. Tons of poblems, not so many with the motor itself but with service, shipping and broken parts. Basically they had no idea what they were doing nor did they no what they were selling. I second buying from one of the many great sponsors, they all stand behind what they sell and will work with you/ help you with any problems you have. You can pay more now and do it right the first time or pay more in the long run trying to "nickle and dime" your project, the choice is yours.

#1 - Don't order engines off ebay, no matter how good the price is.

I looked at the desc. and look what it said:"Angle Sensor, Ignitor, and Airflow Meter not included "The harness looks like it is chopped at the back of the engine. This is what 99% of engines on Ebay are like. You're asking for a headache getting one there.

Everyone here is smart, and I wish I'd listened to more of this advice. I paid about $2,700 shipped for my redtop clip, and have spent at least that much rebuilding the motor.

Ouch, sorry to hear that man. You almost could've got a reliable blacktop from heavythrottle for that (2,800).

I wouldn't say ALL motors on Ebay are junk. The thing is you have to know what your looking for an ask the right questions. I've heard of just as many horror stories with people buying them from shops.

It pays to do research before you buy. See what's included, and what it will cost to get the missing items.

Example.. NO wiring harness, $300 you'll need to spend for a brand new one.
