hi all,

I am one of the great unwashed that has been having trouble getting his SR started...

Had the swap for a couple of years now, but just did major upgrade;

gt2817r turbo upgradeGreddy intake manifoldTomei Expreme exhaust manifoldbc264 cam upgradez32 mafEnthalpy retune

Lots of rewiringcomprehensive Rust removal and repaint

Anyway, I had the problem of the car turning over but no start.Checked everything and did lots of research.Had fuel and spark so had to be timing... and it was in the end.

Had redone the timing when I installed the cams, but I must have got it wrong.

I found lots of NICO posts saying you should check your timing... they are right.

I used this guide and reinstalled the cams, tensioner and CAS;

zer...age=5

Afterwards it fired right up.

Anyway, for those having trouble, check your timing to at least eliminate it as a possibility. Be careful to make sure you count the chain teeth and check the chain is in the guide before installing tensioner and CAS.

Good luck... and am happy tonight.
