The one thats right above the spare tire. See I'm not sure and I don't want to be messing with the tire chain if it isn't.
I've tried searching for photos to see if someone else has done it, but came up with nothing. If you do have photos of this, could you please post it? It would help alot. I'd really appreciate the help.
Pioneer makes some shallow mount subs but they sound pretty terrible. I say build a small box like I did that's easy to take out when you need the extra space.
With 10's you can build a box that's compact and utilizes the proper air space the subs are designed for so it can be perfectly tuned. I've built 5 speaker enclosures in the past few years and I've come to the conclusion that a smaller specked out box will yield a 1000X more accurate response. It will sound cleaner and hit harder. If your box is too big you start to lose part of your response and it gets muddy really quick. When you try to get flashy you always end up sacrificing quality over aesthetics, but I'm a sound junkie that likes to keep my gear straight incognito.
Good luck bro!
