Have you checked the heat shields? Could be a loose bolt

Heat shields are held up by bolts and if loose they would rattle.

Hopefully that is all there is. Just crawl under the car and tighten all the bolts as a first step.

Cut the guy some slack. We are not all English Majors here. We knew what he ment. We are here to help not pass out grades on spelling or english.

Also the factory put in heat shields for a reasion. Yes, you can run without them, but be sure thats what you want before you just rip them off.

Sounds easy enough to diagnose. Instead of wasting time on this forum, crawl under your car and start listening.

If it is your cat, no problem, they make replacements that bolt right in
