have 98 i30 base model. how do i know if side mirrors are heated or not?

hi

i have 98 i30 base model. how do i know if side mirrors are heated or not? my leather seats are not heated. my passenger side mirror broke and looking for a replacement. wondering if i have to buy something that is heated or not. in the one that broke, it only had one pair of wires going into one socket. and everything on backside of mirror assembly was black.

where can i buy just mirror assembly? is it easy to hook it up?

Most heated mirrors say "heated" on them with a fancy logo.

thank you for fast reply. that pic helps a lot. i have other side of side mirror fine and i don't see that defrost symbol on that. i had this car since 98! so it has to be non-heated mirror. thank you.

I have the 97 I30 base model. No heated mirrors on mine. I believe the heated mirrors, heated seats and the spoiler were part of the T upgrade.

i found full passenger side (non-heated) view mirror of i30 on ebay. how do i pull the mirror out of it and put it on mine. any videos that you can point me to? the motor on my broken side view mirror still works..i can move it left<->right and top<->bottom with controls behind wheel.

thanks for posting that video. i ran into that before as well. its just the mirror that is broken. am hoping i could take out the mirror from the part i ordered and replace this one. removing the whole door thing looks like a pretty big job.

Oh, sorry, I must have misunderstood. AFAIK, the mirror is glued in place to the interior part. Usually people remove the broken parts and glue a replacement in it's spot.
