I purchased a 240 coupe shell a while back and its rolling on 14" wheels. Im curious if anyone has ever dared to ride on 14"'s and if so, were they laughed at and accused of being a Tejano who doesnt know any better?

Sorry I searched, but couldnt find any reasonable threads. Thanks guys.

Who cares, if that is what is on it, then rock em. Who cares what people think?? I am sure that alot of people run the 14" wheels, seeing that that is what came on them stock.

Ur worried about people laughing at ur car?

I think you have serious confidence issues. It shouldnt matter what other people think when it is ur car.

If you mod ur car so that people will like it and thus you, you are in it for the wrong reasons....but i suppose its impossible to stop you huh?

Yeah go buy some non knock-off wheelsType X bodykitToo hard to daily coiloversand get an SR20 so that you can fit in real nice

Its because alot a guys come here.....they literally join to find out if what they want to do to their car is cool. Alot of SR swaps happen simply cuz someone wants to fit it. But i digress

If you want to do it, do it. You dont need the praises of an internet forum to enjoy your car. If you are feeling those 14s keep rokkin them.

P.S id love to see how low those 14s put you. You must be scrapping the floor.

OK, so I see I was wrong there, o well, still though, why would you care what people think of your car? If "you" like them whats it matter? If "you" dont then buy a set of stocker 15". Doesnt hardly seem like a good topic to start a thread about. Good luck though, Stick with what you like, you cant please everyone, and quite frankly, its your car so please yourself.

If you dont like them, I have 5 lug for sale, comes with 16" or staggard 17" and 18". Check my threads.

My s13 came extremely 'tejano'd out' including 14 inch wheels. I upgraded to steelies. lol

Preferred wheel sizes for s13's start at 17x9's and go on from there.

No one laughed at me and I wouldn't have cared...

Would have run 13" if they fit.

14's look ugly. In my opinion.

Save those for a smaller car. 16 - 18 is where it's at.

Those are 14" datsun Z wheels I used to auto-x on. Not exactly the best pic IMO, but you can see how low the car sat since the tire diameter was smaller than stock.

Running 14's would be like boinking your cousin. You could do it, but the results would look horrific.

DON'T BOINK YOUR COUSIN!
