hatchback???

hi im getting a 92 240sx this winter and i just went to go see it couple of days ago well everything is pretty good besides some rusts but the major problem is the rust coming from were the stock spoiler is and the person already tried fixing it but in my case i think it got worst i asked some people in my school that owns a 240sx and they told me to buy just the hatchback part is this a good idea or should i not even buy this car??

the hatches just rust i would just see if you can get another hatch for not to much or see how much it will cost to get fixed but chances are if you get it fixed it will do it again.

This is coomon in all 240's.If your close to a junkyard just go grab another hatch.If not you can cut out the rust and weld a plate underneath than fill it in and repaint.Use the rust to your advantage and get the price down because you'll have to fix it anywayz.Body shop will probably fix it less than 150.You do it yourself for less than $25.
