I'm just curious if I'm the only one that's had this happen. My hatch will not open 90% of the time. When I hit the button it doesn't unlatch. What I've been doing is leaning over the back seat and manually sliding the plastic lever to release the hatch. Has anyone heard of this happening? My local Nissan dealer is horrible and can't seem to figure it out so hopefully someone else has!

You're saying the switch on the outside won't pop the lock whn you touch it, or the switch is OK but the latch won't open?

The button for the lock works fine, but the button to actually open the hatch doesn't work.

If the button on the hatch works 90% of the time, then I'd say the switch is bad. If it's always not working, again could be the switch or maybe a fuse?
