Hatch not locking... dash light to

I noticed today my hatch does not lock/unlock with the key, Makes no noise at all in the hatch area, and also my door open light on the dash is staying on.

The other day I had to slam it shut because of the ice I thought, but I locked it with the key I believe and didnt notice it not locking or unlocking.

I took the plastic cover off, all the wiring connections looked fine and connected securely, no movement from anything in the lock area.

Anyone had this trouble before?? Which fuse/relay could affect this. I didnt notice any with a name that pertained to the hatch / hatch power

Take the trim off the back door and try operating the lock with a key. Does the lock rod move? If not, you've got a problem.

It locks with the key, but still shows the hatch as open

Its like it doesnt have any power as no noise comes from the hatch when using the fob

Any help? Id love to get this door ajar light to go out and for my hatch to lock with the fob again

Is there possibly a 2001.5 FSM out there?? Nico seem to only have the 2001, figured maybe theres another 2001.5??

Possibly a way to trick the hatch thinking the sensor is closed??
