hatch locked or stuck (need help)...

so seince i have got the car i have not been able to open the hatch i treid the leaver on the side and i here a sound from the back like its being opend/unlocked but nothing i try the key and that dose not work(wont turn the keyhole... i put a lil WD-40 in the keyhole and tried and still nothing .... could there be something im overlooking?... aswell i was ready in the owners manual that there is a cancle thing to allow the hatch to be opend with only the mater key when cancle is on ... is it possibule i dont have the master key ... if i dont is there a way nissan could make me a new master key with a code from the car somewhere?

Have you tried pulling the handle for the hatch, leave the drivers door open then try opening the hatch. i have to do that for mine. If i close the drivers door the hatch will fall back down and lock again.

dont work either ... i have tried with the door opend and closed

Pull up on the in car release while someone else tries to open it from the back. That thing is crazy heavy and you might not be able to budge it alone. Get new hatch struts too. I have the same problem.

man thanks so f@ckin much ... thats all it is ... i just had to jam something(used my knife) between the lever and the seat and i lifted up on that hatch and it worked ... the struts ar shot aswell ... what do they run for these days ?
