hatch light wont go off?
hatch light wont go off?
the light in my hatch wont turn off even when the hatch is closed, if i put a little pressure on the hatch it goes off, its like the latch thing doesnt reach the button that turns the light off. anyone know an easy fix?

adjust the switch with a small washer or shim...you might need to look at what might be keeping the hatch lid up..good luck..keep us posted.

no shim needed, the actual hatch lock mechanism is adjustable. You might only need a good cleaning of the switch. Mine was doing the same. Remove lock mechanism, spray half a can of contact cleaner, lightly lub mechanism, done.
