I was trying to remove the cover to the hatch light the other day, because I wanted to see if I could maybe get a strong blub. The factory bulb sucks! But I didnt want to break the cover. Is there a way to take off the cover?

Most covers have a little slot to put a flathead screwdriver in to pop it out. Or it has a screw(s) hold it on. I haven't really looked before on the V.

Ya, this one doesnt have a slot. I tried to stick a screw driver all through the corners, but couldnt fit one in.

If I have a chance in the daylight I'll try to look at this.

I've done it before with success. I can do it again and document if you so desire. (uh, but after I return home...)

Okay... probably tonight or Monday evening (we'll see what time I get home...)

Sigh. When you're planning to move to another city... maybe you shouldn't get a boyfriend FIRST... Apartments and jobs are probably supposed to be higher on the priority list...

The light:Carefully take a corner and pry it away from the side of the hatch (I use a fingernail to pull it away from the plastic, then insert the screw driver so I don't scratch the paneling)Now, just pull it out of there! You'll have to angle itStick the screw driver in at one corner and pry the grey part off the difuserGrey part off, change bulbGrey partNow just gently snap the grey part back on and reinsert.

(this was done using a non-working bulb so as to improve picture quality...)

thats what im saying...but oh yea if you meant the break light, you have to get it loose from the inside of the hatch...and the license plate lights are little hooks.also...that gray piece may seeeeem hard to take off, but just pull straight up opposite to the clear plastic.
