Hatch lid leaking water when lifted

After periods of rain, if I lift my boot lid past a certain point, a whole lot of water drips out of it and onto the rear speakers. I met another guy on here who had the same problem, so I thought I'd make a thread. Is it common? What's it caused by?
For the record, my guess is a leaking rear windscreen seal.

yea i have the same problem. Idk why that happens

i had the problem too but what i did was peeled out the window seal took some gas on a q tip and cleaned it really good then got some window gasket from 3m put on a decent sized bead all the way around and replaced the window seal and covered it(as tight as possible) with masking tape till it dried. now im leak free!

That sounds like a good solution. Of course, being someone who's not really great at hands on stuff...I could surely just get someone to reseal the window, right?
