About a year ago I my driveshaft had busted. Theres this round rubber piece that connects the driveshaft together and one day it busted on my while i was driving. It cause the ride to be really rough and I thought it was over. So I ended up getting a one at a junkyard and its been good since then. I was just wondering if anybody has had that same problem. I believe its only in the 5-speed and an S13.

yeah your center bearing went bad. They are like $100 for new ones. You can just replace the bearing if need be otherwise you can get the whole shaft new for like $380.

i have already replaced the whole drive shaft, but when i was in the process of looking for this item, it was nowhere to be found. i tried all over and called drive shaft shops and they all said it could not be bought separately. where (for future reference) could i have purchased it? thanks
