Ok, I was driving along on the Highway on my way to the mall and then I pressed the clutch to change gears and I hear a "BOOM". My clutch pedal was all the way depressed and it didnt come back so now its at the bottom of the floor. I was in fifth gear still, so I slowly pulled the car over and then I checked the clutch pedal assembly. Turns out the metal connector that connects the clutch pedal and the clutch push rod had broke. I mean how could this happen. The connector looks pretty thin but I never heard of this happening to anyone before and I rarley abuse the car. Anyways do any of you guys have had or heard this problem before and how much it might cost me to replace this?

I would say. Either figure out what the part is called and order the new part and fix it yourself, or take it to and independant auto repair shop and have them do it for you.

think I'd go to a junkyard, sounds like it should be an easy part to fix
