ok, i saw a h22a swapped civic hatch and started thinking. has anyone ever swapped a u13 ka24de into a b13? because i am going to. i think it would be a great little project, aside from the ka24et i am building. but i was thinking of putting in a all motor de, into a 2dr sentra. and when i say all motor i mean all out. itbs, cams, header, 11:1 comp. the works. i think it would be stupidly quick car. but has anyone ever heard of this done? and what do you all think?

sounds plausible. would be kinda cool for that little car to get some torque driving the wheels. too bad its not RWD. me i've always wanted a RWD sentra.

I dont know why you would want to do it, since you could get a stock SR20DE powered B13 that would easily beat it mod for mod. AND YES, I do mean it was USDM.

I believe the year available for that was 1991?

All sentra SE-R's had a SR20DE. So did the NX2000.You could probably drop a FWD KA in there if you really wanted to

cool. as for it being rwd. thats another project me and a friend are working on. were making a u13 altima rwd with a turbo ka24de. its alot of custom work but he picked up the car for 50 bucks. all it needed was a coil. but i think it would be cool to see a rwd altima. but the ka24de in the b13 is all my project. i am looking for a 2 door right now. and i will drive it till im done turboing my 240. then i will focus on the sentra, and swapping in a built ka24de. but i will keep everyone posted on the progress of the project. i want to see how it turns out. and maybe one day i will make a rwd b13....

and the reason i want to do is, is simple. how many have you seen with a ka under the hood? i havent see any. so i want to be the first, atleast here in louisville. and i think the ka could make more. but its would be very unique. just some thing different.

Reading a few things on the internet, the SR20DE that was in the B13's was the only one similar to the S13's.

Another thing, I wonder what you will use as a subframe for the rear wheel drive project. Im not so sure its possible without doing it all as custom work. There might be a compatible chassis you could borrow from if you search really hard...

wel i was planning on swaping in a s13 subframe i have a few lieing around. and im sure it is possiable too. might have to cut away some of the trunk to make it all fit. and relocate the gastank into the trunk. deffinatly going to have to make a transmission and driveshaft tunnel. and find a crossmemeber that will fit the altima and rwd ka. were going to try to make it street legal as possiable. but i doubt that will be possiable.
