HAS THE ALTI COUPE JUMPED THE SHARK?

ok...is it just me or are you folks seeing alot more of the slick lil two door poppin up?...i know know...most of us got em even before 2008 hit...but damn..i think this summer nissan poured a boat load of coupes on the road...from where i bearly saw one a week....and it was usually mine in the reflection of a store window i was passing....to now i just saw FIVE on my 15 min drive to work....and the sad news fellas....they were ALL chicks!....25 yo range....3 white cpes 2 black cpes...all 2.5's...now dont get me wrong i love the car..in all respects....but if what i got is turning into a cookie cutter young chicks car...ala white jetta/ cabriolet style....i think im gonna have to pull the ejection handle!!!

im jokin...well maybe not...trade it in and im only 50-55k away from a GTR..which i dont think many teeny boopin, highschool musical watchin',i love justin timberlake cryin, oh my nail broke on my keyless entry whinning, daddy daddy buy me buy me pleeeaassssee beggin, gosh are you hot in that lill white coupe, big sunglasses, always wet look hair, dark lip sticked face as you drive to your senior year in highschool, or your job at express....in a car that took me years to buy on my own out right,,,you got by batting you pretty lil eyelashes...and you cant even drink legally..but will probably never have to buy one on your own any way...nor will u ever get a speeding ticket in your 2.5 that ur honda civic owin boyfriend put an intake on for you so you could do 80 on a 60 as you play with your hair in your rearview...and all the cop will say is...nice car sweetie..take it easy on the pedal cutie...or 80 in a sixty huh?...want some other numbers?..555-5555..call me so you can thank me for not bustin ya honey bunch sweetie pie......while i get a beat down for 51 in a 50...nailed for illegal tint, illegal breathin, wrong color eyes, and bad hair.....will ever drive unless some rich 70 yo guy needs some eye candy on his arm and in which case ull need a 4 yr course to teach you how the paddle shifters work...

That's awesome. I dunno, I don't see too many around Chicago still. I probably see a couple per week, but it's usually the same 3-4 coupes. If there is a chick driving though, they all seem to be flippin' attractive, so I'm ok with that.

dont think the 3.5 could ever be considered a chick car, my friends who are pretty into their cars and the whole culture dont even consider my car an 'altima' after riding in it, they all look at it as a mini, everyday driving Z.

given the growl from the 3.5, even the low volume stock sound, cant picture it being a 'chick' car.

(thats not to say girls cant own and appreciate one, when i say 'chick' car im talkin about the stereotype described in OP)

But so far out hear in my AO I have only seen maybe 6 coupes in the last 3 months. 3 of them where white and 2 where grey and only one was a chick (but she was hot- so it doesnt count) and did I mention they where all 2.5's. I have yet to see another 3.5 on the road.

Around my area there aren't many coupes at all - i think i've seen 2. A white 2.5 S (not SL...) owned by a chick that goes to my gym, and another 2.5 SL owned by this woman at work....

..an lemme guess...ur at least an 8 outta 10?.....figures.....like i said in one of my early posts...all chicks who drive coupes are hot....even if they arent when the get them...the car has magical powers..it turns em hot after theyve been drvin em for a while...ask your selves....has ANYONE seen a fugly chick commanding an alti coupe?..ill do ya one better...heres my official coupe color to girl type scale....

white coupe....hot chick...usually single or can be when she wants to ..blonde..high teen to low mid 20's....lets say 19-24...can be snotty...but still the type ud go out of your way to get..wears pants with logos on butt....smell of hair spray/ gel floats throughout car at all times...

red coupe...very pretty...seductive..not typically single but still likes people to look...mid twenties to high 20's...very out goin and fun...but can be serious when needed..short classy skirts, heels, and big sunglasses!think cool soccer mom with flair...

black coupe....now heres the thriller...a chick streering a black coupe...probably smokes marlboro red and drinks bud right from the bottle..she has no age range but usually teters out at about 30...she tells you where to go and how...and you dont go after her...she goes after you!..leather pants, halter tops..and hello kitty sock under boots are the uniform of the black coupette.

I have seen a lot more coupes driving around... a lot of that has to do with the better deals they are offering on both the 3.5 and 2.5.... but all of the (very few)3.5's I've seen had guys driving them, and all of the 2.5's I've seen have had chicks driving them
