Dear friends, I've looked at various forums and posts but, honestly, there is so much conflicting information that I feel compelled to just post my question directly with the hopes that someone will have an answer based on their own experience.

I would like to know if this tire/wheel setup:
- Enkei RPF1 wheels 17x9 +22 or +35 (on all four corners)
- 245/40/17 tires (on all four corners)

will work on my '92 S13 240SX Coupe with the following setup:
- Megan Racing Street Coilovers both front and back
- Z32 30mm calipers and rotors in the front and stock calipers in the back
- five-lug hubs all around
- stock fender liners
- no fender pulling
- no fender rolling
- no spacers

without rubbing against the fender, coilovers, fender liners, and calipers?

Does anyone have this setup? If so, would you please let me know how it has worked for you? If you have pictures, it mean a lot to me.

Thank you in advance for reading my post.

I doubt anyone has that exact same set up as you want. So goto rimtuck.com you can find some on there with your wheel and tire combo and the will list anything they might have for there car. So you can see how it looks close to what you have in mind.

Thanks for the suggestion. I already did. I found nothing to match.

I had 17x9 +35 with 245/45/17 in the rear with MR streets, and they rubbed without RUCA's (rear upper control arms.) Added the RUCA's with a little negative camber and they fit fine without rolling. It wasn't super low though. Fronts were 17x8 +35 so no help there. Good luck!

I have 245/40 17 in the rear on 17x8.5 wheels with +23 offset. I didn't roll first and tires were hitting the fenders, so I rolled. RUCAs are must as well.

Thank you for your reply and information. It is all very helpful. I don't have RUCAs so I will need to do that for the rear. I am happy to know that I can make the rears work. I sure wish I had a better solution for the fronts!

Thank you for your pictures. I really appreciate your quote from Philippians.

Thank you for replying and the information. Your car looks great with those wheels. What brand, model, and size are they?

You'd need some work on lowered car to fit probably. I have 235/40/17 on 17x9 +12. Would be rubbing except for fender pulling. And do rub on inner fender well near firewall on full lock.

Hey guys, I've decided that I want to keep the tire width the same all around and I don't want to do any fender rolling or pulling. So, the only tire width that works in the front under these requirements is 225. The Enkei RPF1 wheels are concave only in 17x9 and wider (I like their slightly concave look.) My current wheels are 17x7.5 +35 with a ton of distance between the wheel edge and the coilovers. If I go to 17x9 +35, I believe they will have plenty of distance between the wheel and coilover.

So, long story short, I would like to plan to go with 17x9 +35 wheels with 225/45/17 tires. I realize this setup is stretching the tires a bit but it is the best setup which allows me to:
1. keep the tire widths the same all around (I don't want to induce understeer by putting wider tires in the rear -- I am very happy with the current handling of the car) and
2. avoid rolling/pulling fenders.

My question to you is: Has anyone installed Enkei RPF1 17x9 +35 wheels on an S13 with 300ZX brakes upfront? If you have, please let me know if the wheels cleared the brakes. Pictures would be even more awesome, of course.

Thanks!

I have 17x8 +27 w/ 245/40/17 up front (so for your 17x9, the +22 would work) and 255/40/17 on 17x9 +35 in the rear. Fits everything with no mods on an S13 coupe. And the RPF1s will clear the brakes no problem.
