i am looking for a new turbo, and its most likely going to be a gt35r. i was browsing enjuku and i came across this, it has no real brand name but says its very comprable to the garrett model. im only looking for 450whp or so. let me know what you think.

Enjuku is a good company and I would trust their parts. Although I would ask what/if any warranty they provide.

I know Turbonetics has a 1 yr no questions asked warranty.

i emailed Enjuku and asked if it has a warrenty and how it compares to its garrett counterpart. so ill let you know what they say. as far as i can tell, it has the same specs as the real thing.

Well, I would.

But I'd swap the internals of a chinese turbo for garret parts and use that also. For 750, thats a "ok" deal. It depends on your power goals and whether or not you'd consider a used turbo like Holset...

But if you are only considering new, then that is a good deal for a BB turbo.

well im looking for around 450whp, and i would consider used turbos as well, but i have been told by a few reputable people, or who i hold to be reputable that i should stay away from holsets because of the lag. i have also been looking at a precision sc61, which is non ball bearing.. so im just trying to weight my options right now so i dont spend unecessary money

youd be better off and buy a real turbo, all the knock off turbos use the same center section as garrets as well, if you rebuild a egay knockoff and have it rebuilt it uses garret parts, spend the extra money and buy a real turbo, good luck
