Has anyone used lucas injector cleaner in their car?

Does it work? Is there a noticble difference in fuel economy or overall engine performace? I can't find seafoam anywhere, so this is what the guy at car quest recommended.

I used lucas oil additive once, key word here is once, after it gummed up the inside of the engine and starved the lower end of oil, resulting in motor destruction(01 mitsu eclipse) I decided that I would not ever use any of their(lucas) products again.

but on the bright side the eclipse is gone and now I have a 240 woooho!!!!!

Seafoam and Lucas addiitve are very different.

Lucas additive can overwhelm your antifoaming additive.Foam is a bad lubricant.

Dont use it.

Seafoam is ok to use, the week before an oil chnage, you can use it longer but it just evaporates and teh varnish it picked up just redeposits so If I ever use it I put it in 4-5 days before oil change.

yes the fuel injector cleaner is good to use, likely better than seafoam for this application.

BTW Chevron techron and ValvolineSYnPower fuel injector cleaners, are known good products.

Thats what I look for.

redlne fuel system cleaner. my personal fav.

dump the whole bottle in before you fill up.

I have had excellent experience with Lucas products. Fuel injector cleaner and power steering fluid are both great products. Advance Auto parts sell all the Lucas products and also Sea Foam.
