I dropped a spare motor off at my machine shop few months back just started assembling it and determined i gave them one of my ka24e Cranks by mistake. With the little information available I've found that they will physically interchange with minor differences IE the crankshaft snub. (I machined a spacer at work to correct this). I was weary about the clutch/FW mounting. IF it is possible to run i might just leave it alone. If not I have a spare Ka24de crankshaft in my garage i can reassemble the engine with. I was curious if anyone here has attempted this or had any success with this. Because to me it seems like the F/W mounts further off the block compared to the DE. I feel as if this would cause clutch/starter issues.
Thanks,
Frank
