Has anyone tried this dump pipe?

i just broke off the stud on my stock one trying to replace the gasket/fix exhaust leak and im really pissed off lol

i could drill out the hole and go with a nut/bolt setup but id rather just get a 3" setup anyway... does anyone know if that will clear the steering column?
