How does it sound, does it perform better than stock? Apexi exhausts are too expensive to get shipped to Canada. The price comes out to around $1400!!! Pacesetter exhausts can be ordered at my local car store so I was just wondering if they are fairly good exhaust systems. I want an exhaust with a low bass kind of sound. Thats quiet around cruising speeds but gets loud and aggressive when I put the hammer down.

I will probably go custom piping with a flow master muffler, if the pace setter is garbage. Any suggestions? Does flow master make an exhaust specifically for the 240? I thought I read some where that it did.

Thanks for any help I can get.

pacesetter is garbage, flowmaster is much better. there aren't any shops at all near you that can get you a nice catback so you don't have to eat shipping yourself?

I agree pacesetter is garbage. I put it on my 89 ka24e and it made it sound like a damn 2 stroke motorcycle!!! If its a deep low tone you want go with something else. Don't do what I did because then you will just end up wanting to buy a new exhaust system right away after you hear it. It is a really riced out tone.

PACESETTER IS MADE HERE IN ARIZONA. THEY ARE LOW BUDGET, OK QUALITY SYSTEMS. ITS DOESN'T SOUND LIKE IT SOULD BUT OHH WELL TO EACH THERE OWN. IF YOU WANT A GOOD SYSTEM BUILD IT YOUR SELF.

I THINK THEY BUY ALOT OF THE PIPING FROM MEXICO BUT IT IS ASSEMBLED HERE IN PHEONIX. ALTHOUGH I'M SURE SOME OF THE WORK IS DONE OUTSIDE.
