LOL, personally I think that's dumb to use on a KA that can only use half the tach if you really spin it. You need to use it on a motor that can really rev.

It might be easier to use the old 300zx digital clusters instead. At least it's still nissan. Looks like it's out of a fighter jet too. Like Dano said, the S2000 one has too may revs on it that you'll never use.

You would have to grab both the service manuals & get to work. Getting it to fit should be the least of your worries.

Factors such as sensors for speed, temp, etc. should also be of concern because well, the NX1600 wasn't a direct bolt on & it was Nissan.

Anything can fit with a brain, effort, and fab work.

Its neat, But it would bother me not being able to hit redline on the cluster. It's like those 11k+ rpm tachs that people have. Kinda pointless.

The AP2 cluster has a lower redline IIRC, That and you could get something like this done.

I would think you could get them to set the redline at what ever rpm you needed.

Another digital cluster that looks alright is this one, and already has a write up.

^^^ :facepalm2 D'oh!

I think I much prefer the NX1600 cluster and the Maxima digital gauges behind that.

I wonder if there is a way to change the color of the digital bars and stuff in these clusters... :gotme

This... If you caould swap out the colors.... The green might have been nice back then but something maybe blue or white or red would look even better.

No worries! It took me a few minutes to figure out what it was too, I just knew it wasn't an S-chassis interior.

Personally I love the s13 gauges... I know they are not all flashy and futuristic looking like the s2k gauges, but they are clean and they suit the car. As for the s14, I'm not a big fan of the white gauges... but black ones look good enough. I'm still undecided on the s15.
