anyone taken the rear taillights off yet? I was trying to the other night, took off two nuts from behind the covers and tryed to pull it out, but I felt like there were still one or two holding it down. I didn't find out why so I gave up as I don't want to damage a new car, but am exploring the unknown! lol I want to figure out what number bulbs all the bulbs on the car out so I can order replacements.

Also anyone have any hands on experience with headlight replacement lots of discussions but nobody has actually gotten their hands dirty on this one.

Who is gonna be the guinne pig on that matter?

if you have AIM i can try to help you, i have the service manuel ive gotten close to getting the headlights off but they just felt really loose but never came off.

I remember helping a guy replace the headlight bulbs in his '99 Celica... I believe we had to remove the engine, fenders, and steering rack to get at them.

I've not taken them off myself, but mine were off. Here is a link to the photo of my car, page 9 shows the tailights off, but gives little detail as to how.

I've probably got the only Versa that is towed behind a motor home. If I had to do this job myself I doubt it would be towed at all!
