Has anyone swapped their bellhousing?

Here's the deal- I just got a CA18 motorset and I noticed that transmission fluid is leaking out the input shaft. It also wobbles around a bit. Not knowing the condition of it, and KNOWING the condition of my KA transmission, I have been pondering swapping the bellhousing. Rebuilding the CA transmission would cost about as much as 10 used KA trannies and that is the justification of my thought. FYI...I am assuming that fluid leaking out the input shaft is bad....
