A 240sx with a G20's USDM Sr20de dropped in it? Always thought it would be kinda cool just to see one done.

I'm sure a search will help you out with that request.

Hey man if you try to include in the thread title a short description of what the thread is about it might help people identify their interest without even opening it up. Oh and make sure to search for topics before posting as they may have already been covered.

Anyone seen a 240sx with a G20's USDM Sr20de in it? Would have worked fine. Thanks in advance for your consideration of these concerns.

Isn't the G20 fwd? Why would you bother going through all that customization for a 145hp fwd motor when you could pull an sr20de from a silvia, 180sx, that is set up for rwd. Still, good luck with your search.

i'll be nice. it won't work. mounting points are different and there is no room to fit the distributor because the firewall is in the way.

I posted this in General Chat. Don't know why it was moved here. Who are we to question them?

GTFO then as you told me. And yes the some of the threads that I've posted to have been helpful.

So a person couldn't fab mounting points for the engine? Wouldn't the RWD sr20 trans bolt right up? The distributor issue can be solved with an aftermarket ignition that removes the distributor. From what I remember looking at a USDM sr, on a engine stand, it looked the same as a jdm one. Have done search many times with no luck, just wanted to know if someone knew somebody that did one. If it's never been done why not? How many rb, sr, 450sx or ka-t builds have been? I know there easier to do, but it would b sweet looking. You can even get it BAR refed for the car or I move from California to avoid b**** a** smog regulations. I don't know I guess I'm just seeing if anyone has, maybe mine will be the first.

A KA is like 135hp maybe to the wheels stock, the jdm parts will fit it and there is a aftermarket turbo kit for the g20 there may be a smog legal one too. Or a custom manifold to any turbo I would want.

Had you taken a few minutes to check the RWS SR forum, you would know that transverse SRs are different in many ways from the RWD variant.
