I've inherited a set of new 225/45/18 tires. I can put them on the Q next summer or hold them for another year to 18 months and run them on the Maxima. My 245/45/18 Bridgestone RE970AS are running fine on the Q.

I'm sure I will get a firmer ride over the 245/45 that I have today.

The tires are new Nexen CP662

spot on.
you need a 95 minimum load rating, not sure that even the XL versions of 225/45 carry that.
why not run a 245/40? you can certainly get those in a 97 load rating.

The load rating is 95. Speed rating V. Max Single Load(lbs) 1521.

I wouldn't have bought them, its just that someone gave them to me. I don't need to run them right now. I'm actually in good shape for tires on all cars. I may just hold them for the Maxima.
