I bought an intelligent key from eBay for my M35 2006. I went to Glendale Infiniti (in California) to have them reprogram the key fob, but they ask for $116.00 just for reprogram the key,so my question is that have any of you reprogram the key fob or not? how much did it cost you? If I remember correctly someone posted on internet that it cost about $30-$60 for reprogram the keyfob, but I don't know which dealer is it.

Some had it done for free by a friendly Infiniti dealer. My dealer wants $80 (nuts).

You can get it programed at a Nissan dealer for around $30 or less. Make sure to have the bring your original key fob with you. Also, don't forget to have the new key cut (at Home Depot or Lowes).

I went to Downtown LA Motors Nissan this morning, guess what! They said that they are not sure too if they can do it or not because M35 is not a Nissan car, but they want to charge $90.00 and even if they failed they still have to charge me anyway, so I told them that I'm pretty sure that Nissan dealer can do it and if they cannot do it that mean their techs are not good enough, so I just walked out. *sigh* I'm willing to pay them their asking price as long as I know that their price is fair, but now I know that normally people get their intelligent keys programmed for just only 30-40 or even free! I don't feel like I can pay their outrageous price anymore

$90 is too much. Call around, I am sure you'll find a dealer that is more reasonable. There should be many Nissan/Infiniti places around LA.

Also, someone on here has told their dealer that their replacement key fob bought on eBay is really their original one that had a dead battery for a long time and lost its programing - the dealer programmed it for free, after they bought a new battery at CVS.

I contacted one of the automotive locksmiths here in Phoenix who said that he can program the keys(M35) on his new machine. Cost was $110 vs $150 from the dealer. The moral of this story may be to call around to automotive locksmiths in your area and find out who has the right programing computers and at what price.
