My 350Z has a hole in the convertible top in the same place they always get one, right behind the drivers head. Is there a better than stock replacement cover option available after market you guys can recommend? Either way, is this something I can replace myself or does someone specializing in this have to do it IE requires special tools & experience. Looks like something I could do myself but I've never worked on one before. For me, I'd much rather spend a little extra getting a better top & save labor costs installing it myself if it can be done.

Thanks

Is the hole small enough to fix?

Check out the service manual: http://Nicoclub.com/FSM

Seriously? That's your suggestion?

It is abouyt $1300 parts and labor for the better shops where I live to do the job parts, labor, and everything. Judging by what the tops cost on the Internet ($600-$700), I would expect there is a great deal of labor in the job. Good luck with it!
