My PS cover got a chunk cracked out of it and I need to replace the cover with a spare I have, but need to know how to separate the cover and body and if a new gasket is required, and where to get it?

youre talking about the glass globes or glass housings. Man I have take apart other headlights before and its a pain, but gl man here is the link. It might be easyer to just get a whole new headlight tbh thats what I would do. Here is a guide on how http://www.skylinedesigns.net/z/tech/headlampdisas.php

Thanks so much BlackWidowZ, it's the plexiglass (it's not glass as the writeup states) outer housing that is the first step that I need to replace.
I thought I'd seen this in the past but could not find it anywhere, and didn't want to assume it could go in the oven especially without temp guidance.
I like the heat gun idea better anyway...thanks again!
