When I removed E.M. here is what I had too R&R! 1) Dip Stick Tube (Which is very tight in block) 2) Removed Fuel Filter bracket to be able to move around better! 3) P. Side 02 Sensor stayed it cleared during removal process but, D.Side had to come off! 4) Eight P.S. nuts which I sprayed all exhaust nuts the day prior to removal!5) Bottom #2 Cylinder E.M. was very hard to get to! Placement and angle working around battery cables! 6) Eight D.Side nuts were removed and #1 Cylinder E.M. over top of oil filter area was at bad angle also! 7) Once you remove E.M. you have to clean matting surface of E.M. very good because there will be some old gasket stuck too head exhaust port area! 8) Removed engine ground which is on D.S. E.M. which attaches to strut wall bend tab flat to prevent from breaking off or cutting yourself! 9) Removed 3 bolts which secures Power Steering Pump Reservoir to strut tower and moved towards Air Cleaner Box!10) Removed Air Intake System also!11) EGR Tube was removed from below with 22mm wrench!12) Remove 19 exhaust bolts and nuts to mounts flanges and hangers to pull the entire exhaust system out the back of car! Sounds like a lot but, only took another 15 minutes! 13) took Steering Linkage down because P.S. E.M. was hitting P.S. Box so had too remove Tie Rod Ends and loosen 4 R&P bolts to rotate R&P down so Steering Box would be out the way! 14) Dropped S.Bar for clearance also! Used wrenches open and box and deep and shallow sockets 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" drive 8mm,10mm,12mm,14mm,17mm,22mm,24mm, anti-seize, manifold gaskets, flange gaskets, cotter pins Etc. Installing was some much easier with Exhaust Manifolds being stripped of Heat Shields, Pre-Cat materials and Asbestos which is under Heat Shields. Lost a total of 25 LBS. with stripped E.M.
