wouldn't you lose the diagnostic capibilities for the S14 if you went to a CA?

exactly.......now thats why hes gone SR

Competition in my area is stiff,I'm getting tired of some locals who are shyt talkers , just seems dumping $$$ into the CA is worthless. I think I'd rather dump $$ into building a KA24DET like Jays old s14. Think it was running high 11s e.t.s

Thats odd. Tweaktac ran a 13.4 with alot less parts, but IIRC Ray's car was more of a hiway monster.

Yea he did 13 flat but look at his MPH. Plus the car wasnt tuned for high boost, Dee only tuned it for the stock wastegate spring boost.

Come on guys, you think a fully built CA is really capable of "just" 13 flat? With more tuning 125 mph traps can be had as well as a 10 sec time slip with slicks.

the ca18 will give an sr20 a "run for the money", mod for mod. Look at the aussie and uk ca18 examples.... check out tweaks' mentioned above. Nuff said. Research it if you like.Did he 'really' switch to the sr because of the 'only 13sec with all those mods' ?? ..because an sr20 will not fix that problem.

While that ca/s14 had a lot more potential left in it, you'd find the heavier s14 don't run all that impressive times, with the smaller sr/ca motors... hint; torque vs wt.
