Has anyone one hear replaced the two front speakers in their J30?? 5 x 7 ??

I'm about to replace them, the Bose speakers have about had it. Anyone know where to get decent 5 x 7 speakers, or will 6'' fit as well?

They are actually like a 4" speaker. I just replaced my whole stereo and put 5.25" in the front. I used the original bose speaker box and the 5.25" fit without having to cut any of the opening out. I did have to drill new mounting holes to mount the new speaker. I put a bunch of silicone around the new speaker to make it air tight. The bose speaker box is actually a little ported box. It's pretty cool.

If you are not wanting to replace your whole stereo, I have the original bose speakers and amps that came out that both work fine. It was my head unit that was messing up. Make me an offer.
